           I can not believe we have come to a place in our society where we need to have a class, to teach us how to think. Don't get me wrong, I think it is very important and I am grateful to be learning all this information about arguments and the media and such, but when did it become so crucial? I guess my question really is why has the media become so good at brainwashing that we require a class to avoid becoming completely mindless? It is crazy to think that we are the first generation to not know any world other than one of easily accessible technology and communication. In a way our young minds have already been completely shaped by this new environment. 
          Another interesting aspect of this topic, is that we are learning about all of these advancements in technology as an issue needed to be overcome. So if we are the ones creating all this, with the intention of solving problems and creating a better world, how could it be hurting us at the same time? And if it really is causing more harm than good, why do we continue to do it to ourselves? This is not something that is out of our control, yet we treat it as such. Or maybe it is because only the majority of the population being affected are the ones not in charge of creating it. The big companies and CEOs are getting rich off of our demise and there is not much we can do about it. It's wild if you think about how much effort they put into getting us to buy what they have to sell and the fact that we readily believe them. But before we purchase what they sell, they literally buy fragments of insight into our minds though carless terms and conditions agreements. So they buy our minds in order to better sell their products to us. It's kind of sick, both in a genius and disturbing way.
